Tax week (April 15th) in 2009 was quiet. The economy had crashed six months earlier in the fall of 2008 and I was sitting in my empty store. A story’d been pushing at the back of my mind, wanting to get out. I opened the cage door. You need to understand, I was merely the conduit as the first of the Sage Seed Chronicles flowed like an electrical current from my brain, down my arms and out my fingertips. In the next ten months, four of the five books in the series would be written.
Ten years later I have eighteen published: Three series, a host of stand-alones and more books brewing. These stories have received recognition with small and large awards. They’ve been called cinematic and down-the-rabbit-hole page turners.
To celebrate this creative milestone I’ve done two things. I had an author logo designed combining a pen and a maze to symbolize my writing style -and- I created a new website. Both were labor intensive collaborations to move with me into future writing endeavors. (Thank you Dar of Wicked Smart Designs for my awesome logo. Hugs and appreciation to my friend Sheenah Freitas for nudging me through the learning curve of my new website)
Please explore the website and feel free to leave comments.
