Every now and again I pick up a book that has me riveted to the spot. I was so impressed with the tie up from beginning to end (I’m not going to spoil anything here) but the Shell Game is an excellent title. There were plenty of twists and turns to keep me guessing, there was adventure and excitement yet the storyline remained grounded and plausible. The characters leapt off the page and came to life. I am now hooked and off to see what other books this author has written, I am so pleased I’ve discovered a new favourite writer. I shall be recommending his works far and wide. This book deserves to be up there with the top sellers.
